Scope of work: Architecture Lead Design Consultant from feasibility to hand-over

Christ’s Hospital is a unique independent school located in the West Sussex countryside close to the market town of Horsham. Plan A was approached to help develop design-options for the creation of a new Careers Centre that would offer meeting, research and seminar space with a focus on supporting its pupils in identifying career opportunities that they may not have previously considered.
It was intended to make use of two existing Grade II Listed buildings, along with new extension that would connect them together and provide a grand new entrance foyer that would compliment the character of the campus. The extension, together with the sensitive refurbishment of the existing buildings supports a number of flexible new facilities that will not only benefit all of Christ’s Hospital School’s students but the surrounding community as well.
